Learn the Art of Apple Grafting at Grow A Pear FarmSaturday, April 25, 2026 Charlestown, NH 9 AM–12 PM This spring, our friends at Grow A Pear Farm are hosting a hands‑on workshop for anyone interested in growing and propagating their own fruit trees. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., participants will learn the time‑tested craft of apple grafting—an essential skill for preserving favorite varieties and creating resilient, productive orchards. Save the date! Five Sisters Farm in Plainfield NH is hosting our annual “Meet the Lambs” event on Saturday May 9 from 10-4 (rain date Sunday May 10). Free and fun for the whole family, with plentiful parking. Meet and cuddle spring Shetland lambs, learn about our fiber flock, visit the on-site yarn shop (natural Shetland farm yarn, roving, knitting kits and more). There will be refreshments available by donation, raffle baskets, and many friendly sheep waiting to meet you. We operate on Saturdays 9-12 from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend in Sunapee Harbor. We will accept full-time, part-time or even one-time vendors. Prepared food/drink spaces are full. |

2026 Sullivan County Farm Day 2026 Sullivan County Farm Day is set for September 26 —back for a 3rd year, but one day only again this year! Sign up your farm now to be part of the fun! To participate, farms simply have to provide an “open house” at their farm during the specified date and times and ideally offer something that visitors can experience. If this coincides with your season it could be PYO with special activity, such as wagon rides to the orchard, or variety tastings, etc. Other ideas include tours, demos, children’s games, classes and much more.
